Yes. We currently accept Aetna. We also accept Health Savings Accounts and provide superbills for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider for other insurances.

The assessment involves a clinical interview, review of medical and educational history, and standardized testing of areas such as memory, attention, language, reasoning, visual-spatial skills, processing speed, executive functioning, mental health, and academic skills. Assessment findings and recommendations are detailed in a written report and discussed during a feedback sessions during which all of your questions will be answered.

The length of the assessment will depend on the referral questions and the hours covered through insurance (if using insurance). Assessments include an intake interview, 1 – 3 testing sessions, and a results meeting.

NeuroCal does not conduct IEEs or attend school meetings (e.g., IEP or 504). Parents, however, are encouraged to share the assessment findings and recommendations with their child’s school.
